Had her 15 month doctor appointment today. She is 31 3/4 inches tall (75th percentile) and 23 lbs and 13 ounces (50-75th percentile). She is still right on track from what she's been for a while. The doctor said she is displaying the development of a 20 month old (proud mama). She got her shots and cried (cried is not the correct word here, more a gut wrenching shriek) whenever the doctor came near! We went to a new doctor, Dr. Ross, and we really liked him. He took a lot of time letting her warm up to him so by the time he wanted to examine her she was laughing and smiling...until the actual exam started...then she was crying and screaming and pleading to be done. It wasn't even anything big, just listening to her heart, feeling her belly, checking out her legs...the normal stuff. Once he stopped touching her, she was done crying.
She was given a book and I'm pretty sure she was asleep by the time the car left the driveway.
So funny, Jack had a very similar reaction to the doctor yesterday for his 15 mo appointment. Must be the age. He started freaking out when the doctor was checking his breathing. 32in, 25lbs....Jack and EV would be good playmates!
