My little peanut

Nearly every night before Ed and I fall asleep, I ask him, "what is one cute thing baby girl did today".

Here are some of the ones I can remember:

The other day she put her teddy bear to bed (I may have already posted about this).  It was the first time we saw her use her imagination.

Tonight when I got the towel ready for her to get out of the tub she threw down the cup she was playing with and started to throw a fit.  However, a fit usually means she falls down onto the ground and cries.  Well, she got a surprise when she did that in the water.  She wound up blowing some bubbles and looking up shocked.  So instead she just sat there and cried.  I let her play a little longer than it was time for bed.  It took a little work but that squirmy, drenched, crying baby eventually wound up in the towel and in my lap, reading a Berenstein Bears book she got for her baptism.  Too many words on one page so she was done about halfway through and she just wanted to turn pages and point to the bears.

Lately she's been pointing at the picture above the couch and saying, "that's me"...or maybe she's saying, "that's you" because that's what we say to her.

Just tonight she can now identify her hair. We've tried saying it in spanish but she doesn't quite get that part yet.
*Note: later on tonight in the bath, she kept finding her belly button when I asked for her hair.  Oh well...it's a process :)
