I saw someone do this on facebook, and even if it's hokey, I'm going to try to keep up with it.
A Month of Thankfulness...
A Month of Thankfulness...
Day 1
I am thankful for the most supportive and beautiful family. My husband Ed is what dream men are made of.
Sure, he isn't faster than a speeding bullet,
more powerful than a locomotive,
and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound...
that's Superman...
but he is
loving,
caring,
supportive,
tender,
rational,
engaging,
comforting
and smart.
He is a great husband but an even better father. EV is blessed to have an incredible role model who tends to her every need, teaches her about life, plays with her and tickles her all day.
Ed inspires me to be a better person by helping bring me back when I get too far in the red, by rubbing my back when I'm defeated and calling me at work just so I can hear EV babbling "mamamamamam" in the background.
My daughter is enlightening. There is nothing like coming home from a long day and having her run to me. She learns quickly and laughs constantly. Her development and physical abilities are beyond what I expected from a baby. That's because she isn't a baby, not anymore. She is a "little person" as our midwife would say. Her smile lights up everyone's lives around her. God has granted me the honor of parenting this little girl.
I am thankful for them both.
