Jenny Comes to Visit!

One of my good friends Jenny came to town this past week! I love spending time with her because she is low key and we are very much alike. I met Jenny at U of M in the School of Ed. We always tell the story about how I would sit in class and wish I could figure out how to become her friend because she seemed to have a lot of friends in all our classes. My conclusion was she was too cool to be my friend. Funny enough, she thought we would be friends too but thought since I was an athlete I would never want to be friends with her! Luckily we had more classes together and got a chance to know each other. Ed and I are going to Chicago at the beginning of August and we're staying with her and her husband.

Since it's been super hot in Ann Arbor and I've been warm and tired all the time I normally have been staying inside keeping cool. With Jenny in town though I found myself going to trivia 3 nights in a row at local bars, putt putt golfing, walking around Main Street, and watching 5 Harry Potter movies all in 3 days! Trivia was so much fun because Ed got in on it and was very useful! The first night our team didn't place, the second night we were third, and the final night we were second place! Golf was also fun but I could only keep my concentration for one game apparently. We went with two other friends and I almost won the first but the second I came in last!

It started to get hot and humid...I turn into a beached whale when it's this hot. Overall though the weather was pretty nice and I had lots of water to stay hydrated.
