Camp is done! I don't know if I can proclaim that enough...DONE! I love working camp but every year you have to get up for it and excited about working in the hot summer sun with kids of all ages. This year was even harder since I'm 7.5 months pregnant! Luckily I didn't have to work the summer camp as hard as normal and I got a lot of time off. The weather for the week long camp was gorgeous and sometimes I even had to wear a long sleeve shirt. BUT the weather for the hitting and catching camp was horrible. It was 102 degrees today for the camp. I was inside but I still had to drink water constantly and I'm not exaggerating about that. I always had a water bottle in my hand. I made it through, campers made it through but one kid did get dehydrated, threw up, got a bloody nose, but was ok. The second I saw this kid get sick I went into what I'm assuming is "Mommy Mode" and jumped right into action to make sure this kid was ok. I like when mommy mode hits, makes me feel prepared for Baby Viking.
Now that camp is done my only job is to bake a baby. Ed reminded me that that isn't my ONLY job. Apparently I do have to love him from time to time but I'm pretty sure I can manage that one.
