Day 2
Note: I'm blogging at work. Normally I would never do this, but I was told to take the rest of the day off until our clinic this evening. So I'm on my own time.
As I'm sitting here thinking how I'm going to get everything done and how many hours I'm in the office, I realize I am thankful for my job. I am thankful I have an opportunity to stress out about these things. I don't have to stress out about finding a job, supporting my family, putting food on the table and shoes on EV's feet. Sometimes money is tight, but that's what life is like for a young couple with a child.
For the month of November we have 6 am practices. Also we have pitching on M at 11, T at 9 and 11 and Th at 9 and 11. We have clinics Wednesday nights from 7-9, a recruit in on Friday and a team camp Saturday and Sunday. It's busy. That doesn't factor in recruiting, compliance meetings, equipment orders...etc. My heart rate has definitely been up with all the work left to do. (This is how nerdy I am...I am wearing a heart rate monitor today to see what my heart rate does during the day...that may be another post in the future)
I am thankful for this schedule, thankful I have a job, thankful Indiana University has entrusted me to coach their softball team and thankful I enjoy being with the team so much. Now paperwork...that's another story!
