Photoshop Experiments

Earlier this year Ed and I purchased a fancy schmanzy camera since we were taking more and more pictures of Evelyn.  For our wedding Ed presented me with a Canon Powershot and I discovered I really enjoyed taking pictures.  I never took them during college although (this is depressing) I didn't feel like I had fun events that were worthy of pictures.  Anyways, I learned more about shutter speed, apertures, depth of field, f stops...and that lead to purchasing the nice T2i we now have...which lead to Photoshop.  I am lucky to receive a large discount on certain purchases at the UM computer showcase because I'm a student (granted I pay thousands to be a student, a few hundred bucks off some software is nothing).  I'm still learning how to use it but I have the VERY basics down.  Like I know what a layer is.  Here is some of the fun I had last night where I learned about split toning and inverting masks:
Original
Too blue

Eyes are too cyan

More natural?
