Swinging

Someday in the future I will look back on our time living in Ann Arbor and remember the great park right across the street from our complex.  I'll remember fondly how we went over there every day for walks and playing on the swings.  I'll remember Ed and I going for nice strolls around the little pond in the middle, holding hands.......................

(record stops)

................if future Ed is anywhere near me when I begin to romanticize how often we used this park he will quickly remind me of how little we used it.  We don't go for walks, let alone ones holding hands around the pond, and EV has only been on the swings twice (and once was today).  Ok ok ok, I'm a busy mom and he works strange hours but we should at least get to park a few more times before we possibly move.  Since today was B-E-A-utiful I took little Miss EV for a stroll around the pond.  I didn't hold her hand but she sat in the stroller holding Oscar.  Note: some kids have cute little dolls or blankets as their comfort object.  Not my child.  She chose an Oscar the Grouch puppet.  I have now ordered two more since I couldn't bear losing Oscar.

I got some video and picture of her on the swings so I can try to convince future Ed I was a great mom who took EV to the park for daily strolls...

Another example of me making up words to songs...
