Today I took EV to the Michigan Softball Academy kick off breakfast. Little one usually sleeps until 7 or 7:30, she is my human alarm clock. I woke her up (which went great by the way), got her all dressed in her awesome "Well behaved women seldom make history" shirt that Trishy had made for her, these very cool jeans from Mallory B that have buttons on the bottom and a super cute belt from another pair of MB's pants. I'll have to post a picture but she was adorable all decked out in pink for the event. I always thought if I had a girl I would not dress her in pink all the time but I seem to gravitate towards the color. She just looks so adorable when her cheeks match her shirt, her gloves, her shoes, her socks, her hat, her blanket...etc.
I planned for a grumpy baby but of course she was wonderful. Most people didn't even know there was a baby in the back since she didn't yell or cry once. Like the practical girl she is, most of the time was spent playing with an empty water bottle. No cool toys for her, give her diapers and water bottles and she's good to go. People got to hold her, she smiled at almost everyone, and even powered through the yawns to stay interested in the people around her. Once she was in the carseat it was lights out! Got her home and she saw her Daddy which meant no more interest in sleeping! She just wanted to play.
I love this little girl.
