This past week was difficult to say the least! The first week EV was home we got a really great chain of events going: wake up, change diaper, feed, fall asleep...rinse repeat. Week 2 she has gotten to be more active and wanting to be awake a little longer. Also, she HATES wet diapers. If I can potty train my little girl at 1 month I would. She'll sit in a poopy diaper all day but a tiny bit of pee and she wakes up. Problem here is that she wakes up before she wants to, then she cries because she's so tired and not asleep. She's definitely found her cry voice! Before she would just squawk and squeak, now it's a full out cry.
Ok, that's normal for 2 weeks old. However, what is not typical is me having two midterms this past Monday and Tuesday. Talk about little sleep! Thank goodness for Ed's mom. She comes over and helps out, goes grocery shopping, does dishes...anything that can help us, she does. I'm able to get a few hours here and there because of her. Going to school and having a newborn is definitely hard but since these midterms are over I can now plan ahead to get work done.
Also, it's hard to study when you've got an adorable little girl...
I give you huge props for doing school and having a baby! Way to go! Hope the tests went well :-)
