lions and tigers and...frat boys?

Tonight we took EV trick-or-treating for the first time in Bloomington!  It is technically her 2nd Halloween but only her first time going out.  Last year she was a Viking since we called her Baby Viking for 9 months.

This year we wanted to take her out into Bloomington.  I heard on the radio the greek houses here have a "Safe Halloween"...and I realized yesterday night that it was today.  So after a business meeting at 8:30 which ran to midnight (and even later, though I left and yes, it really was for work), I ran to Walmart to pick up a costume.  The "I want to be the perfect Mommy" in me said I was a failure for BUYING a costume instead of being creative and using what we had around the house to make one.  The "I'm exhausted and I don't have to be the perfect mom, I can still be a pretty cool kick ass mommy" bought a lion costume for EV.  I searched the aisles for a long time until I decided on the lion. I figured she'd be pretty cute in anything but look at her, she's adorable.
