Waves and Babble

EV turns 9 months tomorrow and her eighth month in this world has been FULL!  I can't believe she's going to be out as long as she was in shortly!  Her biggest accomplishments this month: waving bye bye and babbling.  We've been working on waving for a little bit now and she can do it on command which is great when we meet new people.  She is a fan of the double wave which makes her look a bit silly, but at 8 months...I mean 9...she can get away with most anything looking cute.

I know I'm declaring her a babbling success now but she just started...yesterday.  For a long time I've been joking about her being the "strong, silent type" but I actually was getting a little worried about her lack of babble. She's still on pace but with her 9 month check up next week I really wanted to be able to have a talky baby meet the doctor.  Well, yesterday was her language explosion.  And by explosion I mean we know hear ba ba ba, f's, v's, and her p sound is hilarious because she coughs every time she tries it.
