It was a beautiful day yesterday and we thought it would be nice to make a family trip to the Cider Mill. We packed up EV (she slept the ENTIRE trip) and headed out to the park. We didn't know if she would still be agreeable at the end of the trip so we stopped to have our walk pre-Mill. I love this park.
I had already called ahead to the Mill to make sure they had at least one of the items I wanted. For some reason I cannot handle disappointment from this Mill. I start crying (secretly, at home, like in the shower) if they don't have at least one of the items I love. It's irrational and have no idea where it comes from. Anyways, we hit the jackpot. We got Honeycrisp apples, a gallon of great cider, a dozen cinnamon and sugar donuts, and 2 caramel apples (one with nuts for Ed and one without for me). Once again, EV slept the entire time!
It was such a satisfying experience knowing that my entire family was taking part in an experience Ed and I had shared two years ago.
